Join Rev. Eileen Stulak for a small group discussion on the topic of dismantling racism. Focused on the white person’s role in becoming an ally and advocate for the black community, the group will meet and discuss the book, Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man, by Emmanuel Acho.
This powerful book and related videos offer guidance, assistance, and resources relative to racial awareness, racial literacy, and racial action. It helps to begin answering the question, "As a white person, what can I do?"
Attendance at all sessions is expected due to the nature of the class and the book being used. The class is limited to 8 people, so register soon before it fills up!
Please note: In order to assure ASL access, please confirm your attendance at least 72 hours in advance of the event date. Thank you!
